Pedal Type Floor Lock for 4" x 2" Wheel Casters - Part # LFL40117
Floor locks enable foot-activated braking for carts, u-boats, platform trucks, & other equipment from a single location when used with casters of similar heights. Floor locks eliminate the need for multiple brake casters, immobilizing equipment without needing to lock each caster. When the braking pad is retracted, the floor lock moves freely with the equipment. When the braking pad is extended, the equipment is immobilized. Floor locks are not designed to be a jack & do not lift or directly support weight. MUST be used on level surfaces to work properly.
- Typically used with 4" diameter by 2" wide casters that have a 5-5/8" mounting height.
- Pedal does not go past the plate to avoid tripping when retracted, but could be harder to access.
